Chris is a graduate of Dayton High School. After school, he went in the U.S. Navy for three years active and three years reserve. He then went on to two tours of overseas duty.
After the Navy, he went to work for Welliver Sheet Metal in McMinnville. He installed commercial and residential metal siding and metal roofing.
After that, he went to a roofing company in Sherwood, Jim Fisher Roofing. They had an excellent apprentice program, where he was taught how to install tile roofs, wood shingles, and shakes…and, of course, composition roofing.
In the early 90s, he was working for a mobile home company roofing, but was also working part time on weekends for several local roofing companies. When he started making more money on weekends, then at the plant full time, it was time to get licensed and bonded and go out on his own.
Chris has been in his own business since 1995. He has no claims filed against him with state Builders Board in all that time. My Construction is also in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.
He has been installing roofs for over twenty years and installing roofs under My Construction for 17 years.
